Donna Whordley

Qualified Integrative Counsellor

Cannock, Staffordshire

Hello

My name is Donna and I believe healing comes from human-to-human connection.

I have a strong passion for helping people and my aim is to build a therapeutic relationship with all my clients.

I achieve this by offering, warmth, honesty, empathy and compassion.

My focus is to help you heal, energise and become aware of your inner strengths.

I achieve this by making sure that a neutral, safe place is used for our sessions.

I can then listen to your concerns, which enables me to customise integrative therapeutic methods to suit your unique individual needs.

I have experience working with a variety of different issues including; anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, childhood traumas, bereavement and loss, rape victims and PTSD.

I have 18 months of work experience in a secondary school setting and I also have supported families and volunteers working within a charity with challenges.

Doing this has enabled me to gain knowledge to work with a wide range of clients from different cultural backgrounds.

I am an individual member of the British Association of Counselors and Psychotherapists (BACP).

I abide by the BACP ethical framework in my practice, and I have regular supervision sessions to support all work that is being undertaken.

I have also had an enhanced DBS check.

“I aim to help you reach your goals so you can live a more fulfilling life”
